I committed to graduate from Denbigh High School in Newport News, VA.  I had lots of fun being a cheerleader for our football and basketball teams. I met students from all over the U.S.A. as well as from overseas. I enjoyed high school and knew I wanted to continue my education.

I committed to graduate from Radford University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been so fortunate to have chosen a career that I absolutely love!

I live in Christiansburg with my husband Bill and our dog Casey. My husband and I enjoy watching baseball and football. We are big Oriole fans. We have two children Martha and Patrick. They both graduated from Christiansburg High School. Martha graduated from Radford University with a B.S. in Nursing and is an R.N. at the University of Maryland Hospital. Patrick graduated from Radford University in Biology and earned his masters degree in Health Administration from V.C.U. He now works at the West Virginia University Hospital.

I look forward to another rewarding and exciting year with my kindergarteners. They always bring a smile to my day!
